Individual Therapy
People come into my practice with a variety of concerns and questions. Anxiety and depression are frequent sources of pain. These may be related to relationship issues, current stresses or long standing internal struggles.
As a therapist, I help people look at their ways of dealing with emotional pain, stress, and relationships. In a supportive, non-judgmental atmosphere they can let go of old behavior and beliefs. With my help, people learn more fulfilling and comfortable ways of handling their emotions and their relationships.
I use a variety of techniques in my therapy, carefully tailored to each person’s needs. Sometimes people are most helped by having the opportunity to look at their feelings and behavior with the help of an objective therapist. When needed, I give direct advice and recommend books or other resources. I see therapy as a collaborative process and encourage my clients to be active participants.
